So for class we had to draw a 2 or 3 point perspective mechanical/electrical object in adobe illustrator. I decided on a Corvette because, even though I'm not a car enthusiast, I can appreciate a nice looking car when I see one. ( Just don't ask me anything about engines etc. I have no idea as far as that stuff is concerned).
Anywho, it was a tricky shape to draw in perspective. I ended up just making a two point grid, and used a photo as a point of reference for the curves and such.
For the colouring, I simply used gradients, a mesh or two, and good old gaussian blur. Can't beat the blur!
You should try 3D if you love vectors so much.
Go have sleep with your vectors now you filthy whore.
Nice job BTW, i never bothered to learn Illustrator as well as this, you have some techniques you can show me when next we meet.
